Curated by Kyle O’Connor, “In Bloom” is an exhibition bringing a handful of fellow 2021 Alfred University graduates together once again. After a year, some remain in Alfred while others are growing their practices elsewhere. There is beauty in growing together through friendship yet apart in distance. This fellowship through my class cohort is one I hold close to my heart, and I’m excited to see how everyone continues to expand in future years to come.

The work I have submitted for this exhibition highlights some of the research I have been pursuing in North Carolina as a STARworks intern. Seeing these works alongside those of Kyle O’Connor, Kayleah Aldrich, and Sarah Turmel is an honor. Cheers friends – to friendship and the evolution of our practices!
